About The Program
The Good Neighbor Program offers a helping hand to customers of the Georgetown County Water & Sewer District who are faced with financial hardship. The program helps pay outstanding water and sewer bills for those who have fallen behind due to financial difficulties. The program is supported by voluntary contributions from GCWSD employees and customers throughout our community. The program is administered by the Salvation Army which determines eligibility for assistance.
Would You Like To Help?
Join us in helping less fortunate families. On the reverse side of your billing statement you will note that there are two ways you can make your contributions. You may make a one-time contribution by enclosing a check with your bill payment, or you may make automatic monthly contributions by authorizing to add a dollar, five dollars, or more to your bill every month. You may discontinue your monthly contribution at any time by calling a customer service representative at 843-546-8408.
